Elgin Baylor Lumpkin, more popularly known by his stage name Ginuwine, is an American singer, dancer, and actor. 

He was signed to Epic Records as a solo artist in the mid-1990s, under which he released numerous multi-platinum and platinum-selling albums. His first four albums (‘Ginuwine…The Bachelor,’ ‘100% Ginuwine,’ ‘The Life,’ and ‘The Senior’) have had major commercial success and he has remarkably sold 10 million albums in the United States. 

In addition to having a wildly successful solo career in the music industry as an R&B artist, he has also had quite the musical career as a member of Swing Mob and TGT. The former was an R&B/hip hop collective including the likes of Missy Elliot, Timbaland, Magoo, and Darryl Pearson. The latter was formed in 2007 and was a team consisting of Tyrese, Ginuwine, and Tank.
